DELAYED
Back in 2013, I took the train back home from Bangkok (Hua Lamphong station) to Hat Yai, which is almost 1,000 kilometers apart, just to see how long it would take, since traveling by train back then had a reputation for being slow, always late, and having bad facilities if you were traveling in the third-class commuter car.
I ended up spending 19 hours.
